I am

My name is Thabo, Smouse- as most know me- I suppose it's because of my starnge Afrikaans surname for a yound black man.  Ive never really found it strange, after all I've had it all my life and have heard diffrent people pronounce it differently.  Nonetheless, I am Smouse- a young, black and gifted gentleman who is easy going, friendly and optimistic.  Some have labelled me as a conceited, rude and selfish bastard.  That may be because of my shyness.  Because I'm a quite individual around strangers doesnt mean that I am mean.  I tend to wonder why I should put a front of kindness and pretend to be like the rest of the world.  Just the other day, a friend of a friend refused to greet me when we were introduced- as she assumed that i was conceited because not once did I smile at her...I dont smile at strangers and I dont converse with the evil.  That doesnt make me a bad person- or does it?  To end off, I am a humble, sweet, talented and strong willed person.  Much Love!     Hi Thabo, your blog is short and sweet, remember it is supposed to be 200 words. Next time mind your grammar e.g I've instead of Ive, also check spelling e.g strangers in the second line. Otherwise, fairly good bhuti.

    I can't agree with more, as i have not yet seen you smile in class. I like it boet as you are straight to the point. However about your surname is bit confusing, being an Afrikaans as you said and you an african black person, perhaps you should find out about as to what went wrong. You spelt stranger in correct in your first sentence than you were right after. check it next time.

    Hi- thanks for your "grammar" comments- just so know- it so happens that I didn't have spell check when I posted. Sis Dora, the grammar corrections are supposed to be sent via email and not as a comment on my blog. Your comments on the blog comments (aka followers) should be content based and be in my structure- meaning it should be in either support or oppose my comment- like Vumile has done by commenting on the smile component and surname history. Thanks!

    Interesting to see how well you know yourself and that you do see yourself the way everyone else does...:) And iv always wondered about ur surname, now i know. PS: Iv just realised that my comment on ur I AM blog was posted last week and its gone now??
